Why we're building it
Our founder Stéphane grew up in Côte d'Ivoire and hit every roadblock a talented student shouldn't have to. Elevate University is being built to remove them — structurally, not in theory.
- Instability: post-war damage shut down his university before he could begin.
- Corruption: a scholarship he earned went to those who could pay bribes.
- Financial exclusion: by the time he raised a $300 fee, admissions had closed.
- Poor quality: unpaid professors, outdated materials, teaching yourself to get by.
- Exploitation abroad: going overseas for a real education, only to be scammed.
- Hybrid learning: online and in-person, resilient to disruption.
- Merit scholarships: talent and effort, not money or connections.
- World-class at home: global partnerships, no need to leave the continent.
- Respected faculty: well-compensated staff and modern infrastructure.
- Opportunity created: a hub of innovation and jobs, so students can stay.
